A Blog is a demanding mistress. She needs to be regularly supplied with little titbits, juicy morsels, to keep her happy.
Ignore her at your peril.
She will sulk and become petulant saying you don't care anymore.
Fickle are the Followers who will drift away to other more interesting sites and sights, feasting vicariously on someone else's frivolity.
I have been negligent, too preoccupied by a world spinning down the drain of self interest and ill manners to attend to my duties.
I'm Sorry. I've been busy.
June 2019.
Devon Coast to Coast with John & Susan.
Setting off from Plymouth just after the downpour.
Start of Day 2 Lydford to Great Torrington.
Stopping for a break near Sheepwash.
Day three, Great Torrington to Ilfracombe.
Check out that profile.
That big black cloud behind us was just about to arrive in a deluge.
So we headed for the Café and dried our clothes off.
The sun had come out again by the time we reached Putsborough Sand.
A total of 112 miles and 8,110 ft of climbing, and we're still smiling ! Horray.

Bravo... but were you in the saddle for the whole climb on the last day?? ;o))
The killer climb on the C2C is the back road out of Woolacombe. I got off and pushed. :)
